The Steel Strips Group traces back to Steel Strips Limited, founded in 1975 by its chairman R.K. Garg; group companies include Steel Strips Wheels Limited, Indian Acrylics Limited and SAB Industries Limited. SAB Industries Limited, established in 1978, is the group's construction and development company, and Steel Strips Towers is its 6.38-acre residential complex of 480 apartments in 14 towers on the Chandigarh-Ambala Highway at Dera Bassi.
